Oral Surgery / Tooth Extraction Post OP Instructions

Please follow this tooth extraction post op instructions strictly for faster healing and to avoid post-surgery complications

  • Take Your Prescribed medications as instructed
  • Do not raise lips and probe the tooth extraction site with your tongue/fingers
  • Avoid hot and spicy food or drinks for about 24hrs after the procedure. Do not drink alcohol
  • Do Not Spit or use a straw for at least 24hrs after the tooth extraction procedure
  • Avoid smoking for a few days to prevent possible infection
  • Do not brush your teeth near the tooth extraction site/sutures(if any). However, you should brush and floss the rest of your teeth as you normally would

note: Mild pain, swelling, and bleeding are normal following a tooth extraction.You may also experience loss of sensation at the surgical site and nearby teeth may feel loose for a while. This will be back to normal in a few days
